It's a shame it doesn't have slice it or fruit ninja pre-installed!

That's a jailbreak tweak that isn't present in an official installation of iOS.

My advice as a designer - CUT & RUN!
There will be other clients to replace this a-hole.
Hi. Thanks for the support. The only good thing about the whole experience is that it's served as kind of a wake up call for me, regarding how I want to handle pricing and clients in the future. :)

Garden State Plaza store is like a mile away from me, but I always go to Tice's Corner (15 miles). I feel like I get better customer service there.
I kinda waited at panara bread until opening cause it was raining. Got leopard and swag (shirt). YAY!!!!

It's been a while since I've posted but I think I've got one worthy this month :D

And just in case the link breaks you can find it on my Flickr page here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/edriddle/5080911417/).
The name of this piece is called "The Usual Scum" and it was drawn by the very talented Otis Frampton (http://otisframpton.com/) for me so it's not available for download in it's full size, an amazing 4200x2914. It is of course a take off of the movie poster for "The Usual Suspects".
http://www.gsdvds.com/suspects.gif
For those interested, Otis draws these live via Ustream and then posts them for later viewing. You can watch him draw this one here (http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/9558615). Also, if you've never been in a live Ustream before he's talking to the folks that are chatting with him via text, he's not talking to himself :).

Red Velvet... yumm
Oh my days I've had these. My friend had them shipped up to him from home to school before Winter Break and let me share in the goodness. I'm a believer.

Apple should just roll their own.
They have the power, the talent, the size, and certainly the scale, to go their own way with an excellent chance of success.
The more things they do in-house, the better. It'll only enhance the Apple ecosystem and grow it.
Is this always the best approach? Unless Apple intends to invent something beyond the wheel, why just invent the wheel all over again? The duplication of effort doesnt sound very cost effective. And for good or ill, we do operate in a Neo-Liberal economy where its most cost effective to source services and products from others. All the same I can understand the Google thing, but I dont think the articles distance itself from Google language is the best choice of words. Reduce dependency on Google would be more accurate. Anyway, I would have to think that Apples plan is to move beyond the wheel. I wonder what that will look like?

The keynote was terrible.
It's called "MacWorld" yet there was nothing in there about the mac. Just this little toy that dosn't really interest me that much called the "iPhone" and the "Apple TV".
I was desperate to see iLife 07, as I'm going to a place where there is an Apple store, and I really wanted to buy it then. For the very first time, Apple have actually disappointed me. :(

You went back to school and you didn't learn how to bill or control a client? Your very first mistake was booking a $75 job with a 3 hour time limit. If that is all someone can afford, then don't work for them. In my experience, the cheaper they are, the more demanding they usually are. Your second mistake was giving the power to your client and not billing him for phone time. You didn't manage the job and you paid the price. I bet you didn't even have a signed contract.

Seems to - iCade has 6 (plus 2 for 1/2-player)
Dang! That is true.
Thinking it out:
Stick = Up/Down
Bottom Red = Reverse
Right-Botton Black = Thrust
Right-Top Black = Fire
Top White = Smart Bomb
Bottom White = Hyperspace
On Stargate you could assign one of the others to the Stealth mode button too.
