PA members most welcome to merge with Tri State members on the rally effort. We have a lunch meeting in NYC on Saturday and you are all most welcome to join us.
Please join us for a tri state lunch meet. We would like to start working on volunteers/ mobilizing members for the DC rally. Even if you cannot take the day off and come to DC please come by for the lunch. We could really use help with banners/posters/ and ideas to make this a success.

Master's and higher, outside US has to be in the STEM fields to qualify.
Good. That means if you have STEM Masters and 3 years US experience then at the time SKIL comes to effect you can file 485 without waiting for PD if 140 was already approved by then. OR can file concurrently.

new H1 and H1 visa renewal are done in all US embassies in Canada.
1. Look out for dates, after registering and paying fees. USD 9.50 for one appointment of one, two, three .... members.
2. Dates are not available, but are released around 20th in bult; also, check out each hour.
3. Allow 30 days for Canadian TRV (temporay visitors visa) to come in mail
4. Go for visa interview.
I did all the above, but had to cancel Vancouver appointment for lack of leave from a very good and generous employer ( I am in operations). Any other questions, please feel free to PM me.
Are they now allowing to get a H1/H4 stamping done in Canada instead of going back to home country ?

Start with contacting another attorney. Let another attorney review your case and give his/her opinion.

If people think reversal of bulletin has solved their issues, it is far from truth. From what I understand and based on experience, Ron Hira and his likes will now work on a non reversible damage.
If the immigrant community is still ignorant - God save the community.
If we do not have enough numbers show up at the rally - Ron Hira, Lou Dobbs, Roy Beck and John Miano will start architecting something that is irreversible

its true that a lot of LCs were denied in 2001/2002. However I dont know of any case where AOS was denied. Do you know of one personally? Or can you post a link to that effect?
If this is a just a theory, then check your facts first, before you claim "the possibility is real".
I agree with you. Lot of times people just assume things and make it real. While one may face issue at Labor/I-140 stage because of recession but it should not be that bad. Also the US government is working on stimulus package to avoid recession. So who knows we may not see a big recession after all.
