Seems like NVARS has introduced a new process which is supposed to be more streamlined for getting appointment online but I am not sure of some of it's verbage.
We want to ensure that applicants already in the scheduling process are not negatively impacted by the change. In order to ensure you receive the visa services you have paid for, please review the guidance below regarding transition timetables.
* Applicants who have already scheduled an appointment at a U.S. consulate on or after September 1, 2010 through NVARS:
If you have already scheduled to attend an appointment through NVARS, please pay your MRV fee prior to September 1, 2010 and bring your Scotiabank receipt with you to your appointment. If you have not already scheduled an appointment, we recommend that you wait until September 1, 2010 or later to pay the MRV fee and register through the new service.
I highlighted the text in bold. My appointment is scheduled for Vancouver on Sept 8. What does this mean to me? Will I need to be physically in Canada prior to September 1, to be able to go to a Scotia bank and make payment there? This is insane. I still haven't gotten my canadian visa stamped on my passport so I can enter Canada.
Anyone aware of this or impacted by this?

If they can find some reason to deny that's fine.In that case they will find another reason to deny "GC approved" cases too!! Let's not be so negative about everything.

I just spoke to my lawyer. We are considering another point that my high schooling is for 13 years, so if we highlight that in evaluation along with 3 years Bachelor then it might serve the purpose.
USCIS accepts 3 years Bachelor from UK and New Zeland as equivelent to US 4 years, cuz these countries have 13 years high schooling. In my case due to my 3 years diploma(polytechnic) before bachelor, make my 13 years high schooling. Still exploring different points.
Have anyone earlier faced this scenerio? if yes, please share the possibilities.

Be very careful while drafting your response and choose the right eval agency. I ur case in Nebraska?

This meeting is very important especially in light of recent remarks from Sen. Harry Reid. We have to find out more information on the background discussions on this. There is a possibility that either Administration is serious about it and wants to give time for people to come with a consensus or this delay may cost us this year's CIR.

you may not get much ifnormation from Infopass - you can go for infopass for issues like FP or Name check status or similar things.
Well Don't don't assume that "pre adjudicated" means everything with the case is over and the ONLY factor is visa number unavailability.
Pre adjudicated means - things are fine as of now.
not being cynical but pre adjudicated , in my opinion , really means its preadjudicated only at the time it was preadjudicated:D..esp with all hte goof ups happening these days

one more question... if I reenter using my AP then IO always take you to some place/room to verify something or its sometimes/randomly only? I just realize that my connection time while coming back from one airport(POE) to another is just 2 hours.

I tend to agree, the first B&W one is the best in terms of composition. The new ones are not as "calm" somehow. I thought getting the railing to go all the way to the top corner would be better, but actually I think it is distracting. Interesting, maybe I learned something here. :p
